In addition to being a Fine Artist, Drew was a Master Photo-Lithographer, Dot Etcher and Color Specialist in the pre-press Color Separation industry for over 14 years.

This extremely rare combination of artistry and technical mastery results in Drew being able to reproduce his original works to the highest standard of excellence. His attention to detail and use of state-of-the-art Museum Archival inks and papers guarantees your print purchase to be a lasting investment for generations to come.

What is an Original?

An 'original' refers to a one-of-a-kind creation. Whether it be a watercolor, oil painting, ink and/or wash drawing, etc. This is the actual 'original' artwork created by the artist's own hand.

What is an Offset Lithographic Reproduction?

An Offset Lithographic Reproduction is created by a photo mechanical process know as four color separation. Basically, the image is broken down into the four colors of cyan, magenta, yellow and black which is then printed on a large offset press. The color is broken down and printed in what is known as halftone, or very tiny dots of the four colors. When combined in various amounts these colors can reproduce a very large portion of colors in the visable spectrum and create a very life like reproduction of the original painting. The image is transfered from the four color printing plates to rubber blankets and finally to the paper on which it is printed. Most magazines, posters, and other publications use this time tested and proven method to print large numbered editions. For years, this was the only option for artists wishing to get high quality reproductions of their paintings.

What is a Giclée Reproduction?

A Giclée reproduction is also printed in the four basic colors of cyan, magenta, yellow and black, but is done so on a high quality ink jet printer. Giclée actually means "spray of ink". With today's modern technology and archival pigmented inks, Giclée reproductions, if properly printed will outlast most other types of printing for light fastness. My Giclée prints are produced in my own studio with the highest quality pigmented inks which are rated light fast for 200 plus years when behind glass and kept out of constant exposure to direct sunlight. The paper and inks are also water resistant assuring visual pleasure now and for generations to come.

Hi Drew, I received your Calendar and Journal today with the personal note. Thank you so much! Lukas, who helped me open the parcel, also says “thanks” for the Styrofoam peanuts. Ollie, who has only three legs, is less prone to chasing things, but says thanks as well. And I will most certainly enjoy the Calendar and Journal. All the best, Margaret

Hi Drew, Coincidentally, we have a male seal point Siamese named Rocky! These will make a total of 6 of your Siamese prints we have. I was excited to find color ink prints in a shop in Siesta Key while on vacation in Sarasota in June this year. We first heard of you on our vacations over the years there. We have 3 seal point Siamese: Rocky and siblings Toby and Macy. "Meezers" has a particular place of honor on our mantel over the fireplace and is my favorite. Love your Meezers! Thanks, Drew. -Renee

Hello, Mr. Catmandrew! I'm reaching out to you because a while ago (5 years or so) my dad purchased a proof #5/50 of "Oasis" from you. It's by far my favorite piece of art I own... but anyways... I lost my dad 3 years ago to cancer and I know if he was alive today he'd probably one of everything you have created. But I'd like a new print of a tabby like my cat Monte Carlo, and am currently browsing your website to find the perfect one. You're the best at your craft, and I just wanted to say thank you for making me smile everytime I look at "Oasis". You're amazing. And thank you sharing your gift with the world.
